1. Information We Collect
We believe in minimal data collection. Here's what we collect and why:
a. Account Information (Required)
- Full Name - To personalize your experience and address you properly.
- Email Address - Used only for account login and password recovery. We require @gmail.com addresses for security purposes.
- Password - Stored securely using Firebase Authentication's industry-standard encryption. We never see your password.
b. Financial Data (Stored ONLY on your device)
- Debtor and creditor transactions (Sales & Purchase)
- Receipt and payment transactions (Income & Expense)
- Money Transfer records (Cash ↔ Bank)
- Custom categories you create for all transaction types
- Party/Payee names (customers, vendors, contacts)
- Payment methods (Cash/Bank Transfer)
- Cash and bank account balances
- Budget Data: Expense categories and amounts
- Bill Book: All invoices and customer details
- Stock/Inventory: Product names, quantities, prices, and units
- Order Lists: Quotation items and customer information
- Notes: All your personal notes and reminders
- Export Credits: Count of exports used (stored locally)
c. Technical Information (Anonymous)
- Device model and OS version
- App version
- Crash reports (to help us fix bugs)
- Basic usage statistics (screen navigation, feature usage)
This data is collected anonymously via Firebase services and helps us improve the app.

- Login & Authentication - To verify your identity and secure your account
- App Functionality - To display your dashboard, manage debtors/creditors, generate reports, and track transactions
- Budget Management - To help you track expenses by category
- Bill Book - To create, store, and share invoices with customers
- Stock Management - To track inventory items, quantities, and values
- Order Lists - To manage quotations and order requirements
- Export Feature - To create PDF/CSV files of your transactions, bills, and reports when you request them
- Notifications - To send important updates (only with your permission)
- App Improvement - To fix bugs and enhance performance
- Fraud Prevention - To detect and prevent unauthorized access attempts
3. Ad Serving
a. Ads (Google AdMob)
- We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements to free users
- AdMob may collect device information (advertising ID, IP address) to serve relevant ads
4. Data Storage & Security
We implement multiple security measures to protect your information:
- Authentication Data - Stored on secure Firebase servers (ISO 27001 certified)
- Financial Data - Stored ONLY on your device. Never transmitted over the internet
- Export Files - Created temporarily in device cache, deleted after sharing
- Data in Transit - Encrypted using TLS/SSL protocols
- Local Storage - Android's secure SharedPreferences with file-based encryption
- Bill Book PDFs - Generated temporarily for sharing, not stored permanently
- Stock Data - Stored locally via SharedPreferences, never transmitted
5. Third-Party Services
We use these trusted third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) - For secure login. Google Privacy Policy
- Firebase Firestore - For storing referral codes, points, and user profiles (not financial data)
- Firebase Crashlytics - For crash reporting (anonymous only)
- Firebase Analytics - For anonymous app usage statistics (features used, session duration, crash reports). No personal financial data is collected. Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob - For serving advertisements. Google Privacy Policy
- SharedPreferences - Android's local storage (no external transmission)
- PDF Generation - Uses local PDF generation libraries (no data sent to external servers)
None of these services have access to your financial transaction data stored locally.
6. App Permissions
- Internet - Required for login, authentication, and ad serving. Your financial data is NOT transmitted.
- Notifications - Optional. For important alerts and reminders. You can disable anytime.
- Storage - For exporting PDF/CSV files (only when you initiate export).
7. Fraud Prevention & Security Measures
To protect your account and prevent fraud, we implement:
- Strong Password Requirements - Minimum 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and numbers
- Email Domain Restriction - Only @gmail.com emails allowed to prevent fake/disposable emails
- Account Lockout - Multiple failed login attempts trigger temporary lockout
- Session Management - Automatic logout after inactivity
- Firebase Security Rules - Users can only access their own authentication data
- No Data Collection - Your financial data stays on your device, preventing server-side breaches
- Ad Frequency Limits - Prevents ad abuse and protects user experience
8. Your Rights & Control Over Data
Export Your Data
You can export all your transactions to PDF or CSV format anytime from the Transactions screen.
You can also export Bills, Profit & Loss statements, and Stock data to PDF format.
Delete Your Data
- Reset Transactions Only - Clears all transactions, keeps categories and parties
- Reset Categories to Default - Resets all categories to their default values
- Reset All Data - Deletes all transactions, categories, and parties
- Clear Budget Data - Reset budget categories and expense amounts
- Delete Account - Contact us to permanently delete your account and authentication data
Opt Out of Ads
- Watch 2 rewarded ads to remove ads for 24 hours
- Purchase Premium subscription for permanent ad removal
- Reset advertising ID in device settings
Disable Notifications
You can disable notifications anytime in Settings or your device settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information immediately.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Significant changes may also be announced via in-app notification. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
